The Palm Event Center In the Vineyard in Livermore, California was the magical backdrop for Jessica and Ryan’s December wedding. Nestled in 110 acres of vineyards with awe-inspiring views of Ruby Hill and Mt. Hamilton, it’s hard to believe this secluded, romantic venue is only half an hour outside of the Bay Area.
The couple had their private, emotional first look in the estate room. Ryan shed a few tears as he saw his bride for the first time, and Jessica’s eyes were not dry either. After this intimate moment, the pair headed outside for photos on the grounds. After an uncharacteristically rainy California winter, the surrounding landscape was lush, green, and perfect for bridal portraits. Fortunately, the rain that day stopped just in time to take advantage of this natural beauty. Jessica’s stunning Martina Liana gown, the deep burgundy bridesmaid dresses, and the roses from Blossom SF looked flawless against the bare vineyards, the rolling emerald hills, and the building’s rustic brick exterior.
Jessica and Ryan exchanged their vows in the estate room, a dreamy space lined with oak wine barrels. Wrought-iron chandeliers hung above the aisle, creating an intimate glow throughout the room. The only thing brighter than the spectacular chandeliers was Jessica’s huge smile as she walked toward her husband-to-be with her father by her side.
After the wedding ceremony, guests moved through redwood doors into the extravagant reception ballroom to celebrate. Jessica and Ryan added their personal touches throughout the ballroom with gorgeous rose floral arrangements, whimsical signage, and floating candles. Jessica changed into a traditional Chinese gown covered with exquisite red and gold beading, and the couple shared a first dance under the most eye-catching piece of a décor: an incredible rectangular crystal chandelier.
There was no shortage of sustenance for dancing guests. The couple had a beautiful wedding cake from Glocakery, embellished with cascading roses and a white porcelain cake topper. The newlyweds also treated their guests to not one, but two late-night snack options. In one corner stood a festive and delicious churro stand complete with toppings and coffee, and in the other was a breakfast bar with croissant sandwiches, bacon, waffles with syrup, and mimosas. Jessica and Ryan planned a beautiful celebration, and their love was evident in every last detail.
